Description
Modern frame MODERN has two types of jamb profiles and one type of casing. The main profile of the frame, which covers the wall thickness, is called the jamb.
The width size of the modern jambs is 120 and 240 millimeters. Schematically, the cross-section of the frame is U-shaped and covers or “grips” the wall thickness. The part of the wall hidden under the casings is called the jamb wall. For example, in a corridor, a jamb is needed on all three sides: right, left, and top.
The foam gap size of the modern frame on each side—right, left, and top—is 13 millimeters. The sealing rubber of the modern frame is similar to the classic but slightly larger. (All explanations and coverage of different wall thicknesses can be seen in the drawings of the two types of modern frames.)
